Thailand - Part 2

Lou and I woke up bleary eyed and tired, (jet lag is evil) and realised we had...ohhh....about 8 minutes to shower, whack on our bikinis and throw on some clothes and head to the restaurant to have breakfast! FML.

Here is a quick snap of the resort whilst we ran through the foyer. (I know, I know, we were rushing for our eggs and bacon but I'll always stop to take a picture!)

Our humble abode:

And here was another snap of the resort villas.

The foyer (check out the marbled floors!):

No one warned us that the breakfast buffet was simply, incredible. Everything you could possibly imagine was on offer...

Breakfast...was simply, epic.

Pancakes to order:

I had a stack every morning, without fail!

You could also have omelettes too... take your pick of yummy fillings!

Eggs, sunny side up

Ohhhhhhhh yeah. Garlic fried rice, bacon, eggs and pancakes. East meets west...

Rawi Warin also had bikes, just in case you wanted to ride around, check out the grounds or take them out to explore!

We decided to have a lazy day, as jetlag was slowly getting to us...We rode round to the poolside and realised we had the place all to ourselves, so we decided to make the most of it and practiced our bombs!

Making a splash!

Jacuzzi....

After our dip, we hopped on our bikes and rode to the spa.. sadly, no photos here, just this - which was given to us before our treatment started.

After a luxurious 90minutes, we came out relaxed, soothed and pampered. We dropped off our bikes, walked back up the (very, very steep) hill to our room, and decided to watch the sun set through the clouds.

Jetlag won. We were going to chill in front of New Girl, Scandal, and a spot of Masterchef Juniors and order room service. (In the end, I couldn't decide on a dish so had thai curry AND pad thai for me, and Lou and I shared a very ambitious 4 desserts)...(when in Thailand, right?)
